Boat Trips

The Kennet Avon Trust has four trip boats providing public trips from various locations along the canal.  All have a licensed bar and refreshments are available.

‘Barbara McLellan'(Bradford on Avon)

A 65ft wide-beam boat seating 40 operating from Bradford on Avon Wharf Cottage, by the lock, BA15 1LE

‘Kenavon Venture'(Devizes)

A wide-beam boat seating 45 operating from The Wharf Devizes (adjacent to the Trust HQ and Museum).

‘Rose of Hungerford’ (Hungerford)

A wide-beam boat seating 50, operating from just off Hungerford High Street.

‘Jubilee’ (Newbury)

A traditional style narrowboat seating 30 operating from  Newbury Wharf (RG14 5AS).  Jubilee is  open to the fresh air in fine weather, but with protection for colder days.
