Welcome to the Kennet & Avon Canal Trust. We’re the charity that saved the Kennet & Avon Canal which runs from Bristol to Reading. Now we work to promote the Kennet and Avon Canal to the benefit of all its users, the communities through which it passes, and its heritage.  Our Vision and Strategy is here.

Browse our site to find out about our boat trips, our steam engines, our events and our cafes. Lots to do along the very best 87 miles in southern England.

Please note that if you would like to get in touch with us, the best way to do so is currently by email. Please email admin@katrust.org.uk and your query will be passed to the relevant person or see our Contact Us page for a full list of email addresses.
