The 58th Annual General Meeting of the Trust was held on 19 September, with 11 members attending in person and a further 10 by Zoom.  As well as approving the reappointment of directors, the meeting approved new Articles which confirm that attendance at an AGM may be by electronic means, with a lower quorum.  The new Articles can be found under Trust Documents, and the draft minutes in the Annual Report section.

2020 season

Crofton Beam Engines has now closed for the 2020 season.  A ’thank you’ video has been posted on the Crofton website.  Plans are already being developed to allow the engines to steam again in 2021.

Both Barbara McLellan and Rose of Hungerford were able to operate some trips within the 2020 season, with Barbara McLellan also offering some special Christmas themed trips. Unfortunately, our usual Santa Trips were not able to proceed as normal.  Bruce Boats have also welcomed visitors for holiday hire, although the ‘rule of six’ has had an impact on recent bookings.
