Matilda Too is a 12-seat narrowboat based in Reading. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor to the town, step aboard our narrowboat Matilda Too and enjoy a leisurely cruise round the town. It’s a chance to experience views of Reading that very few have seen, as well as discovering something of the role the river has played in the town’s history.

Departure location
Matilda Too usually operates from Star Lane Wharf in Reading, next to Queen’s Road car park, RG1 4AR. The departure point is found next to the footbridge crossing the river. We are two minutes walk from the Oracle and fifteen minutes walk from the Railway station. Nearest bus stops: Duke Street, London Street, Kings Road.
