Is there a special occasion coming up like a Birthday or a Reunion? How about floating along our green and leafy waterways on board Matilda Too enjoying a delicious afternoon tea with friends and family?
The route can include going through The Oracle, past the Abbey Ruins and we can even go further afield towards Burghfield. We can tailor the trip to your requirements but they would typically be 90 or 120 minutes, with prices starting from as little as £80 for a group of up to 6 on a 90 minute trip.

Afternoon tea cruise
We can advise on catering or entertainment to add to your trip. A popular option is to book afternoon tea. This is provided by Debbie Johnson, our preferred catering supplier. The tea includes a choice of sandwiches, scones and cakes. All served on vintage china.
Departure location
The Matilda Too usually operates from Star Lane Wharf in Reading, next to Queen’s Road car park, RG1 4AR. The departure point is found next to the footbridge crossing the river. We are two minutes walk from the Oracle and fifteen minutes walk from the Railway station. Nearest bus stops: Duke Street, London Street, Kings Road.
