We now offer day and half-day trips on Lady Hilda for youth group leaders and their family bubbles at discounted prices (subject to Covid restrictions).
Bring your family for a special trip on the water: everyone can learn how to work the locks and steer the boat under the guidance of a qualified skipper. Enjoy the wildlife on the canal – if you are lucky you may spot a kingfisher. Life jackets provided for all.
Youth Skippers will be available to answer questions about youth boating if you are considering bring a group on board in the future, or just come and enjoy the time away from everyday life. Craft activities and games available on board if needed. All ages welcome. Bring a packed lunch and make a day of it.

Lady Hilda is available for hire for local community groups such as Guides, Scouts or similar organisations.
A 62ft foot semi-traditional narrowboat, she sleeps nine people on individual bunks and has a well-equipped galley, seating for all-around a moveable table, a shower room and two toilets – so is ideal for anyone wishing to take small groups out for a day, a weekend or longer.
